Therapy with you
Eleanor seeks to create a collaborative, attuned therapeutic relationship where individuals feel supported as they explore their felt experiences. She believes in everyone’s inner capacity for healing and understands that feeling connected to others and to oneself is important and can take time.
Eleanor’s approach is trauma-informed and adapted to each person’s pace and rhythm. She draws on mindfulness-based approaches, focusing on awareness of the mind-body connection, which she integrates alongside other evidence-based methods. Eleanor works with adults facing a range of challenges. She is particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing the impact of trauma on their emotional wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self. She values the process of reconnecting to oneself and the world through unique strengths and meaning-making—including creativity, culture, spirituality, or other sources.
Eleanor has experience supporting those navigating a range of concerns particularly personal and collective trauma through her previous work in Aboriginal community health. Eleanor holds full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and provides services under Medicare.
