Are we the right practice for you?

Healthy Connections Clinical Psychology is a busy, growing practice in the lower Blue Mountains village of Blaxland, approximately 10 minutes from the Nepean River and an easy drive along the M4.  We work with people across the lifespan, from the perinatal period through older adulthood and are committed to being an active and valuable member of our community.

Our team is passionate about increasing access to excellent mental health care for the people of the Nepean/Blue Mountains region, particularly in our special interest areas of complex trauma, neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD, ASD), parenting, eating disorders, and older adult well-being.

Our clinicians utilise multiple therapeutic approaches including Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT, Family Systems, Hokami, relational psychotherapy, and CBT.  While we may prefer different modalities, we all share a common commitment to working from an attachment and trauma-informed perspective. We offer individual, family and group therapy, psychometric assessments, student placement opportunities, and consultation to community organisations.

“I find working at HCCP to be an incredibly rewarding experience. The team at HCCP’s warm and caring nature creates a supportive environment where both staff and clients feel valued and respected. One of the things I love most about my job is the wide variety of client presentations we see. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth, allowing me to continually expand my skills and knowledge. Additionally, the autonomy I have in my role allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, which is both empowering and fulfilling. Overall, I feel grateful to be part of such a compassionate and dynamic team.”
