Mishy is a provisional psychologist who employs a strengths-based approach to empower clients in achieving their goals. With a warm, engaging demeanour, she fosters an inviting and supportive environment.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, and psychosocial disabilities, and is particularly passionate about eco-psychology. Mishy utilises a client-centered approach, integrating various modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed practices, tailored to meet individual needs. With a background in art therapy, Mishy is experienced in integrating art therapy into psychological interventions to enhance wellbeing.
Mishy has experience working with NDIS participants in private and non-government settings. She holds provisional registration with AHPRA and is a professionally registered member of the Australian and New Zealand Arts Therapy Association.
